A sad accident happened in Nnewi, Anambra State, when a truck carrying cement lost control and crashed into a house. The crash killed three sisters and another person. The community is in deep pain after the terrible event.
People who saw the accident said the truck had a brake failure. The driver could not stop it, and it ran into the house where the victims were sleeping. The crash was so strong that part of the building fell.
Rescue teams arrived quickly, but sadly, four people had already died. Others were injured and taken to the hospital.
Many people gathered at the scene, crying for the lives lost. Neighbors said the three sisters were hardworking and kind. "This is a big loss," one resident said, wiping tears.
Authorities have started investigating. Many people are now asking for stricter rules for heavy trucks in residential areas to stop accidents like this from happening again.
