The people of Doka community in Kaduna State are in deep pain after the killing of a 15-year-old student, Ahmed Musa. Ahmed, an SS2 student at Government Technical College, Malali, was found dead in the school on February 16, 2025. His body showed signs of beating and strangulation, making it clear that he was murdered.
Ahmed’s father, Comrade Musa Muhammed, who is a journalist and activist, confirmed the sad news. He described Ahmed as the only child of his mother, making the loss even more painful for the family. The entire community is heartbroken and demanding answers.
Following the incident, the Kaduna State Government has asked the Ministry of Education and security agencies to investigate. Permanent Secretary Malam Rabiu Yunusa said that Governor Uba Sani is deeply concerned and wants those responsible to be caught and punished.
The Kaduna Doka Development Association (KDDA), a community group, has sent a letter to Governor Sani, asking for justice. In their petition, titled “Urgent Appeal for Justice in the Murder of One of Our Member’s Sons (Ahmed Musa) at Technical School Malali,” the group expressed their sadness and called for quick action.
KDDA Chairman, Sani Rabiu Bako, said the community is in pain and wants the governor to make schools safer for students.
This terrible event has raised concerns about student safety in schools. The community and the government must work together to make sure such incidents do not happen again. People are now waiting to see what steps the authorities will take to bring justice to Ahmed and his family.
