TikToker SeaKing’s Arrest: RCCG Says, “Let the Law Take Its Course”

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has spoken about the arrest of TikTok content creator Olumide Ogunsanwo, also known as SeaKing. The church is asking Nigerians to allow the law to take its course.

SeaKing is a TikToker known for making funny and sometimes controversial videos. Recently, he was arrested, and his arrest caused a lot of reactions online. Many people have been talking about it, and even Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of RCCG, made a statement.

At first, Pastor Adeboye said he did not know about the arrest and called for SeaKing’s release. He mentioned that the TikToker was "fulfilling prophecy" and should not be held in prison.

After reviewing the situation, RCCG released a statement asking people to allow the law to take its course. The church said it respects legal processes and believes justice should be served properly.

The statement also mentioned that Pastor Adeboye is a man of love and forgiveness. However, it is important for the law to do its job in a fair way.

RCCG also advised Nigerians to be careful with their words, especially online. Some people have been making negative comments about Pastor Adeboye and the church. RCCG asked everyone to speak respectfully, even when they disagree.

The church believes that spiritual leaders should be treated with honor, and no one should use social media to insult or defame them.

This situation is a reminder that freedom of speech comes with responsibility. While people have the right to express themselves, they must also respect the law and religious beliefs.

As the case continues, it is best to allow the legal system to handle things fairly. Nigerians are encouraged to remain calm and avoid spreading false information or hate speech.
