The people of Kumasi are in shock after the body of Patricia Nimako, a Mobile Money (MoMo) vendor, was found. She was shot and killed by armed robbers who attacked her shop.
According to reports, the robbers came to Patricia’s shop and asked for money. Even though she gave them what they wanted, they still shot her and ran away. Sadly, she did not survive.
People in the area are very sad and angry. Other MoMo vendors are scared because these attacks are happening too often. They are asking the police to do more to protect them.
This is not the first time robbers have attacked a MoMo vendor. Many vendors across Ghana face danger every day. They work hard to earn a living, but their lives are always at risk.
People are calling on the police to find the robbers and bring them to justice. They want the government to put better security measures in place to stop these crimes.
No one should lose their life because of their job. It is time for action to protect MoMo vendors and other small business owners.
